Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Ship System (theshipsystem.com), including its integrations with third-party platforms such as the ShipSys Meta (Facebook) app and Google APIs (together, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
About the Service
Ship System is a private, internal business tool operated for our brands (including Plastic Tags, Etch and Ink, Lucid Industries, Tap Contact and related businesses). It is used by authorised staff to manage orders, production, shipping, customer email, reporting and advertising. It is not offered to the general public.
Authorised use
- Only staff and contractors we have authorised may log in to or use the Service.
- You must keep your login details and any API keys confidential and must not share them.
- You must use the Service only for legitimate business purposes and in line with our internal policies.
- You must not attempt to access data or accounts you are not authorised to use, interfere with the Service, or use it to send spam or unlawful content.
Third-party integrations
The Service connects to third-party platforms using accounts we own or administer. Use of those platforms through the Service is also subject to their own terms:
- Meta (Facebook / Instagram): used to create, review and manage ads on our ad accounts. Subject to the Meta Terms and Meta Advertising Policies.
- Google (Google Drive, Google Ads): Google Drive is accessed read-only to locate artwork files for orders (for example files named “J-12345”); Google Ads is used for reporting. Subject to the Google Terms of Service and the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy or conduct of third-party platforms.
Data and privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Data accessed from third-party platforms is used only to operate the Service for our businesses and is not sold or shared with unrelated third parties.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and content, is owned by us or our licensors. Customer artwork and materials remain the property of their respective owners and are used only to fulfil orders.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and may revoke access for any user. We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, we exclude all implied warranties and are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded by law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the courts of Queensland have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
